HDMI over MPO Fiber Optic Cable (Up to 1000 ft)

This HDMI-over-MPO fiber system is designed for ultra-long-distance, high-bandwidth AV installations where standard HDMI or fixed-head fiber cables are not practical.

By combining a pure MPO fiber jumper with detachable HDMI transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) adapters, this solution enables reliable, uncompressed HDMI 2.1 signal delivery across distances up to 300 meters (984 ft).

Ideal for professional AV, institutional installs, and high-end home cinema projects.

Key Capabilities

  • True HDMI 2.1 Performance
Supports 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz with up to 48Gbps bandwidth for uncompressed video and advanced audio formats.
  • HDMI over MPO Architecture
Uses a multi-fiber MPO connector for long-distance signal transport with detachable HDMI adapters on each end.
  • Detachable TX / RX Adapters
HDMI transmitter (TX) connects to the source.
HDMI receiver (RX) connects to the display.
This design simplifies conduit pulls, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Ultra-Long Distance, Zero EMI
Pure fiber transmission provides complete immunity to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference.
  • Slim, Lightweight Fiber Core
Significantly thinner and lighter than copper HDMI, making it suitable for long conduit runs and complex installations.

Available Lengths

  • 10 m / 33 ft
  • 15 m / 50 ft
  • 46 m / 150 ft

How This System Is Typically Used

  • Professional AV installations (venues, control rooms, broadcast)
  • Large lecture halls and auditoriums
  • High-end home theaters with remote equipment racks
  • Gaming or workstation setups with equipment isolated in server rooms
  • Government, education, and enterprise AV infrastructure

Why HDMI over MPO Instead of Standard Fiber HDMI?

Standard fiber HDMI cables have permanently attached HDMI heads.
HDMI over MPO separates the in-wall fiber infrastructure from the HDMI interface, allowing:

  • Easier conduit pulls
  • Future upgrades without replacing the fiber
  • Cleaner installs in tight or complex pathways
  • Long-term infrastructure planning

Important Installation Notes

  • This is an active, directional system
  • TX must be connected to the source
  • RX must be connected to the display
  • Always test the system before final in-wall routing

Optional Accessories

  • Detachable DisplayPort adapters
  • Wall plates and couplers
  • Conduit-friendly mounting solutions

Perspective on Length

  • Eiffel Tower: 984 ft
